Hey everyone, I hope all is well!  Roll Tide!

As many of you know, Julie and I have been in Montana all summer.  We got back into Alabama late last night (Tue).  Don’t fear, we will be at the tailgate!

We’ve been missing a few Alabama foods – like Conecuh sausage.  So, we will be cooking a little of that for the early folks.  For the main event, we will be doing a shrimp boil.

My goal is to have dinner off around 4:30PM.

We are smoked from the drive home and will likely be gone before the game is over.

I’ve been playing around with Chat GPT…. With that here’s what the model had to say when I asked it to write me a post.  Pretty cool, eh?  This year I’ll be using ChatGPT more to create the site content.

Meet the Challengers: Unveiling the MTSU Blue Raiders

But before we dive fork-first into the culinary treasures, let’s tip our hat to our opponents for the day – the MTSU Blue Raiders. Hailing from Middle Tennessee State University, these underdogs bring their own unique history to the field. Established in 1911, MTSU has grown from a small teacher’s college to a thriving university. And while they might not be our long-standing rivals, they’ve got the spirit and tenacity to make this opener a match to remember.

Flavors of Tennessee: The Irresistible Conechu Sausage Sliders

Now, let’s talk about the grub that’s gonna keep us fueled for the big game. This time, we’re keeping things rooted in Tennessee, celebrating the local flavors that define the region. Introducing the “Conechu Sausage Sliders” – these little bites pack a punch! Think succulent Conecuh sausage, lovingly nestled in slider buns and topped with a zesty relish that’ll send your taste buds on a joyride. It’s a delicious tribute to the state’s culinary heritage and a scrumptious way to kick off the culinary festivities.

The Main Attraction: Alabama Shrimp Boil

Of course, we can’t glide past the showstopper – the legendary Alabama Shrimp Boil. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a bonding experience that captures the essence of Alabama tailgating. So grab your plate, rally your friends, and dive in while we cheer our hearts out for our team.
