After nearly a month off we’re back at home this week and welcoming in the Mississippi State Bulldogs. These guys always play Bama tough and I expect this week to be no different.
I’ve talked in the past about it can be tough doing a new menu for teams we play year in and year out. So rather than fight it this time, I’m going to take the easy way out and do some logical Mississippi staples along with a few twists on some dishes that have always been hits.
Here’s my thoughts:
- Traditional Fried Catfish with homemade tartar sauce
- Fried Okra with French fries
- Smoked catfish pate with smoked almonds
- Traditional southern slaw
With a 2:30 game I am trying to get everything off around noon.
