This week brings us another away game. It’s kind of crazy that we are going on week three and have not played a game in Tuscaloosa yet. But then we open up with a three week of run of home games.

If you are heading to College Station, there should be no shortage of tailgating going on. Just remember, all the A&M fans in Tuscaloosa last year were great. If you are like most Bama fans, you will be tailgating from home this week. So, I thought that I would feature an at home recipe.

When I think of Texas I think of two foods: BBQ Brisket and Tex-Mex. I love brisket, but to get it right you need lots of time. With a 2:30 kick-off, you are getting up very early to get brisket smoked to perfection. So, I am combining both these into one easy dish.

Check out the shredded brisket enchiladas with fire roasted salsa verde. The spicy salsa verde pairs well with the smoky beef. Give this a try with Cahaba Brewing Companies American Blonde Ale.

Give these a try and let me know what you think.

See you all in a little over a week in Tuscaloosa!
