Browne-Halco (4513) - 16" "Super Heavy" Spring Tongs Browne-Halco (4513) - 16" "Super Heavy" Spring Tongs

For years I used normal everyday kitchen tongs or a spatula when grilling. I always seemed to have some flimsy model that did not line up well or could not support much weight. Not only that, but I found thrusting my hand over a blazing hot grill while holding onto 8” tongs to be quite uncomfortable.

I finally took the time to visit a restaurant supply store and buy a quality pair that were sturdy and around 18”. Not only have I found myself using them for traditional duties, but they are study enough to push and pull pots and pans around. No more burned knuckle hair or dropped food. All that and a price that did not break the bank. Click here for an example of what I am talking about. These are not the exact ones I bought, but close enough so that you get the idea. Many big box stores carry similar items, but I have found they are not as durable as the models I have found at restaurant supply stores.

Pick up a pair and give them a try.
